Kangaroo TV(R) and FIA provide handheld broadcasting device to media for all 2008 F1 Grand Prix racing events

MONTREAL, March 27 /CNW Telbec/ - Kangaroo Media and FIA (Fédération
Internationale de l'Automobile) will, once again in 2008, make Kangaroo TV's
handheld mobile broadcasting device available to all accredited media covering
2008 Formula 1 racing events free-of-charge. The KTV service, featuring
original live F1 video, audio and data content, will be in operation at all 18
Grand Prix races around the world during the 2008 season.
"Reporters and photographers will be able to enjoy the benefits of
Kangaroo TV at each Grand Prix event of the 2008 Formula One championship,"
said Nadia Petrossi, Head of Public Relations at Kangaroo TV Europe Ltd. "They
will be able to stay mobile and well-informed around the paddock and circuit
with live race action content and behind-the-scenes information direct to the
handset," she added.
Local and international media can collect the devices at the
international media centre (exact location to be confirmed for each event) on
Thursday ahead of the FIA press conference or Friday morning at 9:00am
routinely at each Grand prix event. Devices must be returned to the media
centre following the race on Sunday. Permanently accredited media may borrow a
handset to keep for the season. The handsets may need to be collected for
periodic updates. The Kangaroo TV kit comes complete with extra battery and
universal charger.
