Junior Investment Company announces subscription for 5,000,000 common shares of Apoquindo Minerals Inc.



    TORONTO, Jan. 3 /CNW/ - Junior Investment Company announced that on
December 27, 2007 it subscribed for 5,000,000 common shares of Apoquindo
Minerals Inc. pursuant to a subscription agreement dated December 27, 2007.
The subscription price was $1.35 per common share, for an aggregate price of
$6,750,000.
    Upon completion of the transaction Junior holds 5,000,000 common shares
of Apoquindo, representing approximately 17.67% of the outstanding Apoquindo
common shares.
    The common shares of Apoquindo were acquired by Junior for investment
purposes only, and Junior has no current intention of acquiring any further
securities of Apoquindo. Depending upon relevant economic and market
conditions prevailing from time to time, Junior may determine to acquire
additional common shares of Apoquindo in open market or privately negotiated
transactions or otherwise or to dispose of any or all common shares of
Apoquindo owned or controlled by Junior.
