Joint Forces Investigation results in more charges



    SAULT STE. MARIE, ON, Oct. 21 /CNW/ - A 17 month joint investigation
dubbed Project OMAX has resulted in one more individual charged with drug
offences. Vincent BOULANGER, age 36, was arrested near his residence on
Thursday October 16, 2008, in Sherbrooke, Quebec. The Royal Canadian Mounted
Police led joint forces investigation consisted of a partnership with the
Sault Ste. Marie Police Service as well as with the Ontario Provincial Police.
    BOULANGER, who has ties with organized crime, has been charged with one
count of conspiracy to traffic cocaine and one count of trafficking cocaine.
He is scheduled to appear in Sault Ste. Marie Bail Court on Tuesday, October,
21st, 2008 at 10:00 am.
