HALIFAX, Oct. 3 /CNW/ - Jim Eisenhauer, the chief executive of a
Lunenburg, N.S.-based equipment manufacturing company, has been appointed to
the Board of Directors of Nova Scotia Power Inc.
He is President and Chief Executive Officer of ABCO Group Limited, which
has holdings in manufacturing and distribution activities.
Mr. Eisenhauer has 30 years of industry experience, and has served on
Boards of Directors in both the private and public sectors. He is presently a
Board Member of Atlantic Industries Ltd., Nova Scotia Business Inc., and
Composites Atlantic Limited. He has previously served on the boards of
organizations such as Nova Scotia Voluntary Planning (Chair), Nova Scotia
Innovation Corporation, the Premier's Council on Innovation and Technology,
and the Nova Scotia Community College Foundation.

Mr. Eisenhauer is a graduate of both the Nova Scotia Technical College
and Dalhousie University. He is a Professional Engineer and a Fellow of the
Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nova Scotia.
In 2006, Nova Scotia Power established its own Board of Directors
distinct from that of Emera Inc., its parent company. In addition to
Mr. McLennan, the Nova Scotia Power Board includes:

- Irene d'Entremont, President of ITG Information Management Inc. in

- Marie Rounding, former President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of

- Ralph Tedesco, former President and CEO of Nova Scotia Power;
- Derek Oland, Chair of the Board of Nova Scotia Power's holding company,
- Chris Huskilson, President and CEO of Emera Inc.;
- Rob Bennett, President and CEO, Nova Scotia Power.
