REGINA, Nov. 28 /CNW/ - Raymond and Delphaine Stoski and Leonard Bundus
were cheering Sunday night and it wasn't just because the Saskatchewan
Roughriders won the Grey Cup. After watching the game, they phoned the Prize
Payout Hotline and discovered they had won $12,512,425.00 on the November 24th
LOTTO 6/49 draw.
Delphaine discovered the Quick Pick ticket they had purchased at the
Neighbours Convenience Store in Regent Park in Regina contained the winning
numbers - 1, 10, 25, 27, 30 and 36. Raymond rushed back to Neighbours and
asked for a print-out of the winning numbers, which confirmed the win.
"I couldn't believe all the numbers were there," said Leonard, when he
was told they had won. Raymond told his employer that he had to "take an
absence from work" but his employer was thrilled to discover that Raymond had
Raymond and Delphaine are planning a driving vacation to the west coast
and then down into the United States. They'll likely be taking the trip in a
new 4 x 4 vehicle since Raymond has "always wanted to buy a brand new truck."
Leonard also has plans for a new vehicle and will be sharing the windfall
with his family.
In Saskatchewan, proceeds from lottery products such as LOTTO 6/49 are
used to fund more than 12,000 sport, culture, recreation and community groups
