Invico Capital Corporation announces launch of CanBridge Capital Fund L.P. and Appointment of Executive Management Team



    CALGARY, June 12 /CNW/ - Invico Capital Corporation ("Invico") is pleased
to announce the launch of CanBridge Capital Fund L.P. (the "CanBridge Fund"),
an open-end mezzanine-type debt fund. CanBridge Capital Corporation (the
"Manager"), a subsidiary of Invico, will act as General Partner and Manager of
the CanBridge Fund.
    The CanBridge Fund will hold a diversified portfolio of mezzanine-type
debt investments in companies generally operating in the oil and gas, oilfield
services and related manufacturing, and real estate sectors throughout Western
Canada. The Manager will look to position the CanBridge Fund to capitalize on
lending opportunities in the generally outperforming Western Canadian economy
where quality companies remain inhibited by broader capital market conditions
that have constrained access to capital through traditional lending channels.
    In conjunction with today's launch of the CanBridge Fund, the Board of
Directors of CanBridge Capital Corporation is pleased to announce the
following executive appointments, effective immediately:

    
    Douglas Pigot, CMA, FICB - President, CanBridge Capital Corporation

      Mr. Pigot brings more than 35 years of experience in banking, finance,
      capital markets advisory and general management including over 17 years
      experience in structuring, arranging and executing capital advisory and
      financing mandates.

    Jason Brooks, CFA, PM - Portfolio Manager, Canbridge Capital Corporation

      Mr. Brooks brings over 15 years experience focused on fund management,
      mergers and acquisitions, divestitures and private financing in the oil
      and gas, pipelines, and power sectors both domestically and
      internationally.

    Allison Taylor, APM - Associate Portfolio Manager, CanBridge Capital
    Corporation

      Ms. Taylor brings over 13 years experience focused on fund management
      and financial advisory mandates in the energy sector including mergers
      and acquisitions, private placement financings and financial
      structuring.

    Scott Reeves, LL.B. - Corporate Secretary and General Counsel, CanBridge
    Capital Corporation

      Scott Reeves is a partner at the Calgary based corporate law firm
      TingleMerrett LLP, with a practice focused on securities, corporate
      finance and commercial transactions for emerging and growth companies
      and partnerships. He acts for a large number of private, TSX and
      TSX Venture Exchange-listed companies in a wide range of industries,
      including oil and gas, mining, technology, biotechnology and
      manufacturing. He also acts as director and/or corporate secretary for
      many public and private companies and is a member of the Alberta
      Advisory Board for the TSX Venture Exchange.
