MONTREAL, May 16 /CNW Telbec/ - Join Kraft Peanut Butter Bears 'Smoothie'
and 'Crunchy' as they give free bear hugs at Atwater Market in an effort to
relieve hunger in Montreal. For each hug given, Kraft Peanut Butter will
donate one 500 g jar of Kraft Peanut Butter to Moisson Montreal. For those who
can't make it to Atwater Market, help Spread the Feeling online by visiting
www.spreadthefeeling.ca to send a virtual hug. Whether online or in person,
Kraft hopes to generate enough hugs to donate up to 10,000 500 g jars of
peanut butter to Moisson Montreal.
Moisson Montreal experiences a steep decline in donations during the
summer months when many Montrealers are on vacation. Unfortunately hunger
never takes a vacation, which means donations are especially important this
time of year. Moisson Montreal recovers and freely redistributes food and
essential products to 210 community organizations in Montreal, reaching
112,000 people every month. Peanut butter is an important food product as it
is a source of four essential nutrients. With approximately 36,000 people who
visited Moisson Montreal in the last month being children, peanut butter is a
part of the array of nutritious foods that helps them get the balanced diet
