Interview advisory - Do residents of Vancouver have the need for speed?

VANCOUVER, Nov. 22 /CNW/ - Ever felt the rush of racing down a
one-of-a-kind 535 m urban ice track that twists through Canada's steepest
streets with nothing but a pair of skates, gravity - and 75,000 roaring
spectators - fueling your pace? Kevin Olson of Lethbridge, Alberta is one of
the brave winter-sport warriors that can say "Yes", and the only one who can
say: "And I'm also the best".
Olson is the two-time defending champion of Red Bull Crashed Ice, and
will be in town on Friday, November 23rd to tell you all about his experience.
Red Bull Crashed Ice, a combination of hockey, downhill skiing, and
boardercross, will take over the historic district of Old Quebec for the third
year in a row. Hockey players and action-sports enthusiasts from
coast-to-coast will have the chance to race through Quebec City and battle
three other skaters on a course riddled with massive vertical drops,
razor-sharp turns, jumps and steps.
So sharpen your blades and get up close and personal with Kevin Olson as
he talks about last year's race, shares his tricks and what it takes to beat
100 other skaters while racing at speeds of over 50 km/hr. See if this
adrenaline junkie still has the attitude and energy to defend his title, and
whether he thinks anyone from Vancouver has the guts to take on the heavy
metal of winter sports and the speed to guarantee that their blades carve the
finish line first.
