TORONTO, April 26 /CNW/ - The intersection of Yonge St. and Dundas St.
will be partially closed starting on Friday, April 27 at 7 a.m. until Monday,
April 30 at 5 a.m. to accommodate TTC track reconstruction.
Only traffic travelling westbound on Dundas St. will be able to travel
through the intersection. Dundas St. will be closed to eastbound traffic at
Bay St., and Yonge St. will be closed to northbound traffic at Queen St. and
closed to southbound traffic at Edward St.
Alternate routes that can be used instead of Yonge St. include Church
St., Jarvis St., Bay St. and University Ave. As an alternate to Dundas St.,
motorists can use Queen St. or College St.
Changes to TTC service
505 Dundas streetcars:
Currently and until further notice, 505 Dundas streetcars are being
diverted both ways via: Church St., Carlton St. and College St. due to ongoing
track work along Dundas St. Customers on the Yonge-University-Spadina subway
line can transfer to Dundas streetcars at College Station and at Queen's Park
97 Yonge and 320 Yonge night buses:
During the Dundas/Yonge intersection work, Yonge St. buses will be
diverted around the intersection. Southbound via: south on Yonge St., west on
Gerrard St., south on Bay St., east on Queens Quay and north on Yonge St.
Northbound via: north on Yonge St., west on Richmond St., north on Bay St.,
east on Gerrard St. to Yonge St. to regular routing.
