Interim Provincial Development Facilitator announced



    TORONTO, Feb. 22 /CNW/ - Alan Wells, who has taken on a new position with
Rouge Park Alliance, will be replaced as Provincial Development Facilitator on
an interim basis by Paula Dill.
    Alan Wells served as the Provincial Development Facilitator since the
position was created in August, 2005. The Office was established to mediate
and facilitate in order to resolve planning issues.
    In the past two-and-a-half years, Wells has helped the province,
municipalities, developers and community groups resolve issues relating to
growth management, land use and infrastructure planning and environmental
protection.
    Paula Dill, who has worked closely with Wells in the Office of the
Provincial Development Facilitator, will act in the position until such time
as a replacement has been appointed.
