ST. JOHN'S, Oct. 23 /CNW Telbec/ - Leading-edge technology and an
innovative approach to new markets has earned Toronto's Integran Corporation
the title of Innovative Business of the Year.
The Ontario-based company, specializing in high performance metal
products, developed a method of reducing costs for manufacturing advanced
carbon fiber composite parts used extensively in aerospace and defence
structures, but this innovative product is also taking the sporting goods
market by storm. For their unique business strategy, Integran Corporation was
awarded Canada's top innovator at Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters' Eighth
Annual Canadian Innovation Awards at the St. John's Convention Centre this

Jayson Myers, CME president. "With an increasingly global economy, Canadian
