    VANCOUVER, July 17 /CNW/ - Notice is hereby given that a hearing will be
held before a Hearing Panel of the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization
of Canada (IIROC) on October 1, 2, and 3, 2008, at the Alberta Securities
Commission, 6th Floor, Hearing Room "A", 300 - 5 Avenue SW, Calgary, Alberta,
at 10:00 a.m. or as soon thereafter as possible, to hear evidence and
submissions in the matter of Dustin Rene John Lamontagne (the "Respondent").
    The hearing concerns matters for which the Respondent may be disciplined
as a Regulated Person of IIROC, pursuant to Part 10 of IIROC Dealer Member
Rule 20.
    The hearing relates to allegations that:

    
    1.  the Respondent, while a Registered Representative with the Member,
        CIBC Investor Services Inc. (CIBC), and particularly, during the
        approximate period August 2006 to November 2006, engaged in the
        conduct of forgery of thirteen (13) client signatures to the
        Respondent's client account documentation, which conduct is
        unbecoming a registrant and detrimental to the public interest,
        contrary to By-law 29.1 of the Investment Dealers Association of
        Canada.

    2.  the Respondent, while a Registered Representative with the Member,
        CIBC Investor Services Inc. (CIBC), and particularly, on or about
        October 23, 2006, misled CIBC by providing false information to CIBC
        in respect of client signature irregularities, all involving the
        Respondent's client account documentation, which conduct is
        unbecoming a registrant and detrimental to the public interest,
        contrary to By-law 29.1 of the Investment Dealers Association of
        Canada.
    

    The Investment Dealers Association of Canada formally initiated the
investigation into the Respondent's conduct on July 4, 2007. The violations
occurred when the Respondent was a Registered Representative with the Edmonton
Branch of CIBC Investor Services Inc. The Respondent continues to be a
Registered Representative at the same branch. The matter has been reported to
the appropriate police authorities.
    The hearing is open to the public, unless the Hearing Panel orders
otherwise. The Hearing Panel's decision and reasons will be made available to
