IMP awarded Boeing Performance Excellence Award



    HALIFAX, March 6 /CNW/ - IMP Aerospace Avionics Division announced today
that the Boeing Company has awarded it a 2007 Boeing Performance Excellence
Award for achieving a Silver level of performance over a 12-month period. IMP
was one of more than 250 companies out of approximately 10,000 Boeing
worldwide suppliers to receive a silver or gold level performance award.
    "This award is an important milestone that recognizes the talent and
dedication of our employees to support a world-class customer such as Boeing,"
said Carl Kumpic, Plant General Manager. "We are proud to have received this
award."

    IMP Aerospace, based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, employs 1800 people and is
a wholly-owned division of IMP Group Limited, providing a wide spectrum of
aircraft engineering, in-service support and manufacturing services to the
global aerospace industry.
