TORONTO, Sept. 15, 2011 /CNW/ - The Investment Industry Association of
Canada (IIAC) will be recognizing an aspiring industry "Future Leader"
in the third annual IIAC Future Leader Scholarship Award competition,
running from September 15th to December 15th, 2011 and presented by CSI Global Education Inc.
"The IIAC Future Leadership Award is presented to an employee of one of
our member firms who demonstrates leadership and success in his or her
professional career, commitment to the community and Canadian
securities industry through involvement in the Association," said Ian
Russell, President and CEO, IIAC. "Recent winners have enjoyed a high
reputation and profile for professional achievement and integrity, and
for contributing to their communities."
The Award recipient will receive funding to attend one session of
SIFMA's education program, the Securities Industry Institute (SII), at
the Wharton School of Business in Philadelphia in March 2012. The prize
includes cost of tuition, transportation to and from Philadelphia,
accommodation during the trip and $1,000 cash - a total prize value of
approximately $10,000. The award is sponsored by CSI Global Education

The SII course is a leadership and management education program which
examines the current thinking in economics, finance, management,
marketing, professional development and operations. It runs from March
4th to 9th, 2012.
Last year's winner was Quentin Broad, Managing Director, Head of Equity
Research, CIBC World Markets Inc. "It is clear why Wharton has
consistently been at the top of its class in delivering a business
education and I am extremely pleased that the IIAC chose me as the 2010
Scholarship winner for the securities program," said Broad. "The
