Only Ontario Liberal Plan Moves Ontario Forward
TORONTO, Sept. 24, 2011 /CNW/ - The Horwath Hudak PCs will take Ontario
off track while Ontario Liberals are moving Ontario forward, said
Kathleen Wynne, Minister of Transportation.
"The Horwath NDP have lost their way," said Wynne. "Now, they're
aligning themselves with Hudak's PCs and are offering tax giveaways to
gas guzzlers and people who live in monster homes."
Horwath's NDP will not rule out propping up a minority Hudak PC
government. This move is not surprising since both parties have voted
together 183 times, including voting against programs to retrain
workers and infrastructure projects that created 70,000 jobs.
"I've watched both opposition leaders vote against legislation that is
helping our most vulnerable and oppose funding that improves living
conditions for moms and kids," Wynne said. "Now, they are making
promises with the hope of getting elected but with no hope of helping
Now, the election platforms of the other two parties are moving in
lock-step with each other, offering unfunded tax giveaways to the same
groups of people. Neither party had their platform verified by
independent economists, while both platforms make promises that would
cost billions of dollars.
"After eight years of rebuilding Ontario's public health system,
families need strong leadership and a strong team that will protect the
progress we've made," Wynne said. "In these uncertain times, Ontarians
want a steady, experienced hand on the tiller. Only Dalton McGuinty
and the Ontario Liberals have a plan to move Ontario forward."
