Homecare workers to demand a fix to homecare delivery



    TORONTO, March 26 /CNW/ - Homecare workers, members of the Service
Employees International Union Local 1.on Ontario's largest homecare union,
will conduct a lobby of Ontario MPPs on Thursday, March 27th.
    They will point out to MPPs that the Ontario government needs to act now
to ensure homecare patients receive the continuity and quality of care they
deserve and that this can only be achieved when the present competitive
bidding model is eliminated and home care workers are guaranteed security of
employment.
