additions to the schedule and talent pool of History Makers 2008 Summit.
Bernard Gershon, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Corporate
Strategy, Business Development and Technology at The Walt Disney Company, and
Herbert A. "Herb" Granath, Chairman Emeritus of ESPN, Co-Chairman of The
Hallmark Channel and Vice Chairman of Central European Media (CME) will be the
'dragons' in the Strategies for Success session. They will be joined by Drew
Lipsher, Partner of Greycroft LLC, a veteran in corporate development and
investment. They will be pitched by Producers trying out their 'get rich'

Bernard Gershon is Senior Vice President and General Manager, Corporate
Strategy, Business Development and Technology at The Walt Disney Company. In
this role, he is responsible for incubating and developing new businesses in
the digital media space. Prior to his move to corporate, Mr. Gershon was
instrumental in delivering ABC News content and the 24-hour news channel, ABC
News Now, to new digital platforms including digital cable, broadband, VOD and
wireless, and on devices like the Sony Playstation Portable(C) and Apple's
iPod(C). Acknowledged within the industry as a pioneer in streaming media, as
early as 1995, Mr. Gershon started ABC's first streaming media Internet site -
ABCRadioNet.com. Mr. Gershon also started the first regularly scheduled online
web cast with ABC News' Sam Donaldson.
Herbert A. (Herb) Granath is Chairman Emeritus of ESPN. He is Co-Chairman
of The Hallmark Channel and Vice Chairman of Central European Media (CME). He
has held numerous senior management positions in the television industry,
including chairman of Walt Disney International Television, board chairman of
ESPN, A&E, The History Channel, and Lifetime television networks, as well as
founding partner of Eurosport. While at ABC, Mr. Granath served as president
of ABC Cable and International Broadcast Group. He is chairman of NATAS (the
EMMY organization) and is the recipient of two EMMY and two TONY awards.
Drew Lipsher is a Partner of Greycroft LLC with over fourteen years of
media and entertainment corporate development and investment experience. He
has operated at senior levels at Warner Music Group, BMG Entertainment, News
Corporation and Interscope Geffen A&M Records.
