Hill & Knowlton Named One of Canada's Top 100 and GTA's Top 50 Employers



    National distinction awarded for sixth time to public relations/public
    affairs agency, recognized for corporate culture, and commitment to
    ongoing training

    Work-life balance "promoted, not just tolerated" says one staff member

    TORONTO, Oct. 9 /CNW/ - For the sixth time in seven years, Hill &
Knowlton Canada (H&K) has been named one of Canada's Top 100 Employers by
Mediacorp, and this year earned the additional distinction of the GTA Top 50
Employer's list. H&K is the only communications agency included. This annual
report ranks organizations that have created exemplary workplace environments
for employees based on key areas such as: physical workplace; work and social
atmosphere; health, financial and family benefits; performance management; as
well as training and skills development.

    In its analysis, Mediacorp highlighted H&K's commitment to ongoing career
development through performance feedback and training opportunities. The
corporate culture was also recognized for fostering opportunities for
employees to interact, and share knowledge through both formal meetings, and
the now famous "beer cart" wheeled around the office - by the most recently
joined staff - on Friday afternoons.
    Andrea Craig, a senior consultant in the marketing communications
practice, was drawn to H&K's size and culture when she joined two years ago.
    "Hill & Knowlton affords me the opportunity to work with a variety of

said Craig. "This has accelerated the development of my career, along with the
