Hello!: Spice fever hits Canada, and an exclusive with Belinda Stronach

The Spice Girls launch their sold-out tour in Vancouver, and Belinda sits
down with Hello! Also featured in the issue hitting newsstands starting
today: Kate Middleton helps out UNICEF, Tom and Katie hit the slopes, and
former Miss Universe, Canadian Natalie Glebova, weds.

TORONTO, Dec. 7 /CNW/ - It was the moment Spice fans the world over had
been waiting for. Posh, Scary, Sporty, Ginger and Baby back together in
concert for the first time in nine years, at the opening night of their
highly-anticipated, comeback world tour in Vancouver, BC. The smoothly
choreographed two-hour show - which some fans had traveled from as far as
Italy to see - featured 22 numbers, including their nine chart-topping singles
plus their latest track Headlines.
Among the night's eight costume changes the highlight was a return to the
'classic' Spice Girls' look, including a revamped version of Geri Halliwell's
trademark Union flag dress. Making a surprise appearance in the audience on
Sunday night was Victoria's husband David Beckham, who'd flown in specially
from New Zealand, where he was on tour with football team LA Galaxy. Canadian
songbird Avril Lavigne was also among those checking out the show, which moves
to California on Tuesday, followed by two dates in Los Angeles next weekend.

    Belinda talks exclusively with Hello!

As she steps away from politics, former Liberal MP and businesswoman
Belinda Stronach shares with Hello! magazine her thoughts on her current life
and her dreams for the future. The mother of two and former
CEO-turned-vice-chair reveals how she is now focusing more on her family and
charitable causes.
In the exclusive interview and photo spread in this week's issue, the
blonde beauty reveals how she holds one cause especially dear - the fight
against cancer. "In a way, (cancer) is a strange gift that brings you more
balance in life," explains the 41-year-old, who had her own brush with the
disease recently. Since being diagnosed with, and beating, breast cancer in
the spring she says she "feel(s) great and very lucky." The Ontario-native,
who last month launched the Belinda Stronach Chair in Breast Cancer
Reconstructive Surgery at Toronto General Hospital, is also looking forward to
spending more time with daughter Nikki, 14, and her 16-year-old son Frank Jr.
