Hardcore sports fans are home for good

Fans to get even more involved as the Score HD hits the street

TORONTO, Sept. 2 /CNW/ - Hardcore sports fans are drooling in awe over
The Score's state of the art, street front, high-definition (HD) studio,
designed to give ringside seats to hardcore sports fans and access to
athletes, Score personalities and the broadcast studio like never before.
Transforming downtown Toronto as well as the way sports are consumed in
general, the new state of the art studio will give fans what they've been
craving - a true taste of sports, up close and personal.
"The sports industry has never experienced anything of this magnitude,"
says John Levy, Chairman and CEO, Score Media Inc. "Our new, interactive HD
studio was designed with our hardcore sports fans in mind and we are convinced
it will transform the audience experience as we invite fans to get involved in
everything we do. And as we now move to broadcasting approximately 90 percent
of our hardcore programming in HD, we know our fans will be even more excited
about everything we have to offer."
From taking part in the studio audience to texting in their burning
questions, fans now have a place to call home where they can be real, be heard
and be hardcore. And with a 9x14' outdoor screen and an up to the minute
ticker, fans can even take to the street to get their sports fix.
Adding to the excitement of downtown Toronto, the mesmerizing Score HD
studio, revealed September 2nd on Score Tonight, will be the place for fans to
not only hear the latest sports news and catch the latest game but actually be
a genuine part of creating that news. And with the cool, new space, The Score
now can be even more creative in programming, unique in its offerings and bold
about covering sports.
Along with the launch of the studio come many exciting advancements in
Score programming including:

    - Score in the Morning - With talented host Nikki Reyes, fresh content
and up to the minute sports highlights, The Score's new morning show,

Tim Micallef and seen regularly on Saturdays, The Score's CIS regular

Canada's game, Hardcore Hockey Talk (formerly The Spin) returns on
September 23rd with hardcore host Steve Kouleas and expert analysts
Steve Ludzik, Mark Osborne and Al Strachan

And beyond many of the exciting programming changes, fans will be
thrilled about several developments happening at the TheScore.com, Hardcore
Sports Radio, ScoreMobile and Score Poker.
"The launch of our studio is just one way of catering to our hardcore
fans," says Levy. "We know that they crave the opportunity to get involved. We
also know that they want to consume information on a variety of platforms.
Through our new studio and our focus on giving fans the latest in sports
whether it be online, mobile or radio, we know we are giving fans what they
want, how they want it."
