HoJo back together
TORONTO, Oct. 7 /CNW/ - Today in the Toronto Star NDP Leader Howard
Hampton appeals to Conservative voters to support the NDP. And why not? The
glam couple HoJo is not just about paparazzi photos, they actually think a lot
Both voted against the Ontario Child Benefit. Neither of them wanted to
vote for the investment to help 1.3 million low-income children.
Both voted against the Clean Water Act. Neither of them thought it was
important to implement all the recommendations from the Walkerton report.
Both voted against the TTC subway expansion. Neither of them thought
investing in public transit and reducing smog was a particularly worthy cause.
Both voted against the Reaching Higher plan. Neither of them could be
bothered to invest in expanding college and university spaces, or bringing
back direct student grants.
Both voted against raising the minimum wage. Neither of them thought it
was particularly important to support low-income Ontarians.
Both skipped out on the vote for the Endangered Species Act. Both allowed
their caucus to vote against protecting animals, and neither of them had the
courage to show up for the vote.
It turns out that Ho and Jo have been working together for the past three
years. United together, in their determination to stand in the way of helping
low-income Ontarians, in the way of protecting our environment, and in the way
of growing our economy.
Ontario Liberals have a positive plan to keep Ontario moving forward.
HoJo have their negativity to keep them together.
