Halifax-Dartmouth Bridge Commission Announces That It Has Ceased To Be a Reporting Issuer

HALIFAX, Feb. 14 /CNW/ - The Halifax-Dartmouth Bridge Commission (the
"Commission") announced today that effective Friday, February 8, 2008, the
Commission has ceased to be a reporting issuer in the Provinces of
Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Québec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and
Newfoundland and Labrador.
On December 21, 2007, the Commission made application to the Nova Scotia
Securities Commission (the "NSSC"), as its principal regulator, to cease to be
a reporting issuer in the Provinces of Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario,
Québec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Newfoundland and Labrador. In an order
dated February 8, 2008, the NSSC granted an order stating that the Commission
was deemed to have ceased to be a reporting issuer in the Provinces of
Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and
Newfoundland and Labrador.
As noted in the December 21, 2007 news release, the Commission ceased to
be a reporting issuer in the Province of British Columbia, effective December
17, 2007. Therefore, the Commission is no longer a reporting issuer in any
jurisdiction and is no longer subject to any of the continuous disclosure
obligations of reporting issuers.

The Commission is a financially self-supporting entity that reports to
the Nova Scotia Legislature through the Minister of Finance. Its mission is to
provide safe, convenient, efficient and reliable passage to our patrons at an
appropriate cost.
