(TSXV-MNC.A) is pleased to announce that Guy Jarvis has been appointed to the
Board of Directors of the Company.
Mr. Jarvis brings over 20 years of experience to Multimedia Nova, having
worked as an executive, consultant and investment banker. Mr. Jarvis was
recently appointed the Chief Executive Officer and a director of DC NetCast.
Previously, Mr. Jarvis spent the 5 years as an investment banker, successfully
advising companies on corporate strategies, acquisitions, dispositions and
corporate fundraisings. Prior to his investment banking activities, Mr. Jarvis
was the CEO of Commercial Consolidators where he directed the growth of the
company to $115 million in revenue and received recognition from Profit
Magazine as the 12th "Fastest Growing in Canada" in 2001. From 1987 to 2000,
Mr. Jarvis held a number of executive positions, including Director of the
Business Development Bank of Canada's Mezzanine Financing division and Senior
Manager with both Lloyds Bank Canada and National Bank of Canada. Mr. Jarvis
received his BA from the University of Toronto in Economics and Statistics.
The Company's management welcomes Mr. Jarvis whose contribution will
assist the Company with its efforts to grow its media business and increase
shareholder value. The Company believes that Mr. Jarvis will be a great
addition to the Board and will be a tremendous asset to the Company. His
proven past success and experience at such a high level will be invaluable to
