Grey Island Receives $420K Purchase Order from the City of Toronto

    TORONTO, June 3 /CNW Telbec/ - Grey Island Systems (TSX-V: GIS) is
pleased to announce today that the company has received a purchase order from
the City of Toronto Public Works, for Grey Island's InterFleet system, for a
total value of approximately $420K to track and manage the snow plow and road
patrol operations.
The system will be used to track time and location of the snow plow
operations including application rates of salt and/or liquid chemical, plow
blade status and air/road temperature providing the city with the necessary
information to fend off potentially un-warranted insurance claims related to
snow and ice removal in the GTA. Additionally, the system will be used by road
patrol operations to determine compliance with provincial road maintenance
standards and pro-actively identify road segments that are nearing
non-compliance with provincial standards.
Brian Boychuk, Executive Vice President for Grey Island said, "The City
of Toronto's use of the technology for snow plow and road patrol operations is
forward-thinking. For Grey Island, it showcases our demonstrated ability to
tailor the InterFleet application to specific client needs while leveraging
our strength in road maintenance applications."
