Grey Island Acquires FleetPoint



    Expands Government GPS/AVL client base

    TORONTO, Jan. 13 /CNW Telbec/ - Grey Island Systems International Inc.
(TSX-V: GIS) ("Grey Island"), is pleased to announce the acquisition of the
assets of FleetPoint, LLC (a Washington Corporation) and Swiftsure
Technologies (a British Columbia corporation) (collectively referred to as
"FleetPoint"). FleetPoint is a privately owned company formed in 2004 to
pursue GPS/AVL markets in similar verticals to Grey Island. FleetPoint brings
to Grey Island a successful track record of servicing a number of government
fleets including the Missouri Department of Transportation and BC Transit and
private fleets such as The Beer Store.

    Government GPS/AVL and telematics products have risen dramatically in
popularity over the last year as the price of fuel and other materials
continue to rise. Over the years these product have consistently demonstrated,
on behalf of their customers, the ability to save as much as 15% in vehicle
operating costs and variable expenses, especially where AVL systems which can
be used to monitor road maintenance. In the last year, both public and private
fleet have placed increased emphasis on the real value of GPS/AVL and
telematics systems to save money, increase fleet utilization and differentiate
their users from the competitors, or increase ridership and customer
satisfaction in the case of the NextBus product.
