GLENCOE, ON, Sept. 17 /CNW/ - The small town of Glencoe, Ontario is being
transformed into the greatest annual event in the area, the 132nd Annual
Glencoe Fair - September 19th - 21st.
This year's fair is themed "Our Heritage, Our Fair." The fair features
three fun-filled days of entertainment, education, and exhibitions. Events at
this year's fair include: Variety show, Ambassador competition, Agriculture in
the Classroom Program, VIP Program for people with disabilities, huge parade,
4-H and livestock shows including beef, dairy, swine, sheep, and heavy horses,
World's Finest Shows midway, talent show, one of the largest dances in
Southwestern Ontario featuring two live bands, an all-new Thrill Show
Production Demolition Derby, and large church service.
The Glencoe Fair is "magically re-created" each year by a team of
volunteers that numbers over 100.
