NIAGARA FALLS, ON, Oct. 4 /CNW/ - Great Wolf Lodge, Canada's only
exclusive indoor water park, received the Best Interactive Marketing honour at
the Ontario Tourism Marketing Awards last night. The award recognized the
attraction's unique online campaign to attract a young target audience, as
part of its integrated launch campaign.
"By using imaginative and interactive banners that featured quizzes,
contests and games, Great Wolf Lodge successfully drew young, web-savvy
teenagers to its website," said Robin Garrett, President and CEO of the
Ontario Tourism Marketing Partnership (OTMPC), which administers the awards.
By creating demand amongst young teens, the campaign fuelled bookings
from parents, resulting in occupancy levels that exceeded expectations.
The winners of the third annual Ontario Tourism Marketing Awards were
announced during the province's two-day tourism marketing summit, held in

successfully promote the province as a must-see destination. Nominations were
open to all organizations or individuals in the tourism hospitality industry
operating in Ontario. The categories covered key sectors within the tourism
industry including travel trade, industry, journalism and photography. OTMPC
Chair William Duron acted as master of ceremonies during the awards

done a great job of drawing families from across the province with its
