Gracie Barra announces Georges St-Pierre at Fort McMurray tournament

FORT MCMURRAY, AB, May 10 /CNW/ - Local club 'Gracie Barra' in Fort McMurray is hosting the second-annual Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Submission Grappling 'Fort McMurray Open' Tournament with special guest internationally known mixed-martial arts superstar Georges St-Pierre.

The tournament and seminar will be held on May 21, 2011 and is open for all registrants. The competition is open to everyone, including those residing outside of the Wood Buffalo region. The tournament will be held at the Suncor Community Leisure Centre at MacDonald Island Park.

The mixed martial arts seminar will be led by world-renowned and current mixed martial arts Welterweight Champion Georges St-Pierre. St-Pierre holds a blackbelt from 'Gracie Barra Bruno Fernandes'.
