TORONTO, June 10 /CNW/ - TD Canada Trust knows that in today's
challenging economy, small business owners and operators need to be aware of
all available financing options. On June 23, TD Canada Trust Small Business
Banking will host its second webinar workshop on
www.tdcanadatrust.com/governmentgrants, focusing on Government programs and
grants.
The webinar will feature an interactive Q&A session and will include a
discussion with Christine Morris, Vice President, Business Banking, TD Canada
Trust; Moe Somani, President and CEO, SOHO Business Group and Dan Humphries,
Regional Business Officer, Canada-Ontario Business Service Centre from the
Government of Canada. Topics covered will include the details of various
government grants, subsidies and other financing options for small businesses.
The episode also features a case study to illustrate eligibility for
financing, and how to get the process started.
"We were really pleased with the reaction to our first webinar on cash
flow and we think this one will be equally as valuable for small business
owners," says Christine. "In conversations with our customers, we've found
that they want to learn more about all the available government financing
programs out there, particularly in this economy. We're looking forward to
identifying and explaining some of the federal joint credit facilities
available at your bank and providing tips on how to prepare your credit
application. We're also reaching out to entrepreneurs and educating them on
self-employment programs."

    Reasons to attend:
        - Learn where businesses can go to get started
        - Understand the application process
