TORONTO, Dec. 10 /CNW/ - Gold World Resources Inc. (GDW-TSX Venture) (the
"Company") announces that The Compliance & Disclosure Department of the TSX
Venture Exchange has required that Mr. Richard Tong resign immediately as a
director of the Company and has requested the Company to issue a press release
announcing his resignation. Mr. Richard Tong has now resigned effective
December 5, 2007.
The Company had recently commenced legal action against Mr. Richard Tong
and others who were involved in the structuring of the purported acquisition
of the Xiqinggangping Gold Project. On October 25, 2007, the Company obtained
a court order requiring Messrs. Boris Ziger, Richard Tong and World Fortune
Enterprises Inc. to deliver their shares into escrow on the basis that such
shares not be released unless agreed to by the Company and the individual
depositor of the shares to be released or in accordance with a court order
(see press release November 29, 2007).
