Canada's Largest Oil and Gas Show in 2007 Gets Set for Record Attendance
CALGARY, June 11 /CNW/ - The Gas and Oil Exposition (GO-EXPO) 2007,
Canada's largest oil and gas event of the year, will opens its doors at
10:00 a.m. tomorrow at Calgary's Stampede Park. The event, which runs Tuesday,
June 12 through to Thursday, June 14, is a great opportunity for local and
international delegates to network and see the latest products, services and
technologies from junior to mid-sized companies in the oil and gas industry.
GO-EXPO 2007 anticipates it will break attendance records with more than
20,000 registered delegates from 54 countries, up 118 per cent over 2005's
GO-EXPO. This year's show will also introduce new features that will enhance
the delegates' experience including the Environmental Services Association of
Alberta (ESAA) professional development courses, the International Association
of Directional Drilling (IADD) workshop, GO-ROAD truck test drive centre,
Heavy Oil 101 courses, and keynote luncheons.
"GO-EXPO will continue to draw great interest as the world's demand for

Korea, Sweden, USA, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom will network
and showcase their technologies and products in their respected pavilions at
GO-EXPO. Korea will officially open its pavilion (No. 1461) Tuesday, June 12th
at 10:30 a.m. with a ribbon-cutting ceremony that media are invited to attend.
The Honourable Robert Renner, Alberta's Minister of Environment and Deputy
House Leader and Mr. Choong-joo Choi, Consul-General, Korean Consulate General
will be in attendance and available for interviews after the ribbon cutting.
GO-EXPO 2007 runs Tuesday, June 12 and Wednesday, June 13 from 10:00 a.m.
to 5:00 p.m., and Thursday, June 14 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
