Global Uranium appoints David Greenway to the board of directors

VANCOUVER, April 28 /CNW/ - Global Uranium Corporation (the "Company" or "Global") (GU: TSX-Venture Exchange) is pleased to announce the appointment of David Greenway to the position of director. Mr. Greenway is the President and CEO of SNS Silver Corp. (TSX/V:SNS) and was the key negotiator in the acquisition on both of SNS Silver's current properties. Mr. Greenway likewise was instrumental in the negotiations on behalf of Global Uranium Corp. to joint venture the Anderson Mine property with Concentric Energy Corp.
Mr. Greenway has played an integral role in multiple capital raises that have allowed SNS Silver to both advance the Crescent Mine to development status, and more recently, procure the Emerald Lake gold project from Northern Nickel and Scorpio Gold Corp.
Mr. Greenway sits on the boards of several TSX listed issuers, has assisted in financing numerous junior resource companies spanning all sectors, and has built an extensive network of contacts with international financiers and also with industry professionals who have knowledge of potential future projects around the globe.
Mr. Greenway attended University in Bournemouth England where he studied Accounting and Finance.
Commenting on Mr. Greenway's appointment, CEO Neil Linder stated, "I am overjoyed to now have David fully on board with Global. The company's board wishes to thank Timea Carlson for her significant contribution. Ms. Carlsen, who has resigned as a director of the company but will remain with Global as a Consultant.
