    TORONTO, Sept. 3 /CNW/ - Definitely not in Kansas anymore... 90210, the
most anticipated new series of fall 2008 season made its debut on Global last
night, to the tune of 1.3 million viewers, hands down winning Tuesday night
nationally and in all key metered markets. Securing primetime's top spot, the
launch of 90210 solidly reinforced the buzz created by legions of fans
everywhere leading up to the series premiere. In fact, 3.3 million(*) viewers
checked out the broadcast premiere.
    Prison Break's loyal fan base returned in droves putting the premiere of
Season 4 back in the game with 1.2 million viewers nationally, winning the
night in all three metered markets for the key demo Adults 18-49.
    "Phenomenal! The numbers speak for themselves," said Barbara Williams,
EVP, Content, Canwest Broadcasting. "This is an outstanding start to our
2008/09 season, and we have a lot more in store for our audiences."

Ethan (Dustin Milligan), Navid (Michael Steger) and Silver (Jessica Stroup)
show up at the bowling alley, it's game over for Harry and Debbie. But it's no
picnic for Annie when Ty (guest star Adam Gregory) turns up as well, causing
her to choose between spending time with him or Ethan. And Naomi (AnnaLynne
McCord) deals with a disappointing evening with her father and destroys a gift
from him in a violent rage. While Dixon discovers Silver asleep in her car,
prompting her sister Kelly (guest star Jennie Garth) to confront their mother
(guest star Ann Gillespie, "Beverly Hills, 90210") about the repercussions of
her alcoholic behavior. Jessica Walter also stars.
