Mr. Derek Begin, President and CEO of Global Energy stated, "the 2006
financial numbers show the impacts of both the slow down in exploration
activity in the last half of 2006 and an increase in our indirect costs
associated with our growth plans. Our artificial lift system made significant
progress in 2006 and we expect growth and profitability in the future based on
the recent strengthening in the prices of oil and gas commodities."
Global Energy Services Ltd announces the departure of David Arbuthnot,
Chief Operating Officer (COO) effective immediately. This position was added
to the corporation in the third quarter of 2006 to oversee the day-to-day
operations and expand the business and streamline processes. We thank David
for his contributions and wish him the best in his future endeavors.
