TORONTO, Feb. 17 /CNW/ - Last night 2.7 million (Ind 2+, national) Canadians cast their vote for their favourite reality
series: Survivor: Redemption Island on Global. Now in its 22nd reincarnation with a new twist and the return of infamous castaways
Boston Rob and Russell Hantz, the cultural juggernaut was the
most-watched program of the night nationally.
Going head-to-head (8-9pm), Survivor: Redemption Island outperformed its closest timeslot competitor, CTV's American Idol by 28% in the key Adults 18-49 demo nationally.
