Gemini Industry Awards Conclude With Drama, Variety and Comedy Winners



    Anticipation building for Gala Awards October 28 in Regina

    TORONTO, Oct. 17 /CNW/ - Three consecutive nights of Gemini Industry
Awards concluded this evening with the Drama, Variety and Comedy Gala. The
Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television announced Gemini Awards in
30 categories tonight, with a total of 83 awarded at all three galas this
week. Tonight's celebrations featured winners of awards announced earlier in
October including the Earl Grey Award (Don Harron), the Gemini Humanitarian
Award (Tom Jackson) and the Margaret Collier Award (Chris Clark, Lilly Barnes,
Susan Marcus, Joy Simons-Newall). The 22nd annual Gemini Awards will culminate
with the Gala Awards October 28th in Regina, Saskatchewan.
