Future Shop Has Lowest Prices in Two Years on Top Categories of Consumer Electronics

Desirable Time for Canadians to Buy

BURNABY, BC, Feb. 22 /CNW/ - Future Shop, Canada's largest Canadian
electronics e-tailer and retailer, announces that prices of several top
categories of consumer electronics are the lowest price they've been in the
last two years. Over the last two years consumer electronics prices have
dropped substantially as new products were introduced with mass market appeal.
"When you look at the drop in prices for the latest in consumer
electronics technology it is clear we are in a buyer's market," said Anita
Sehgal, Director of Customer Experience, Future Shop. "Consumer electronics
has become extremely competitive in the last few years and it is allowing
consumers the opportunity to purchase at prices we haven't consistently seen
previously."
