The groundbreaking events in Montreal, Toronto, and Edmonton celebrate
the music of video games
BURNABY, BC, Feb. 5 /CNW/ - Future Shop is pleased to announce its
national sponsorship of Video Games Live. These live interactive shows bring
the music of contemporary and classic video games to another dimension through
their performance by a full symphony orchestra and choir, while the game play
and video footage is featured on a big screen in the background.
"This is a really fantastic alliance for everyone," said prolific video
game composer and Video Games Live co-creator Tommy Tallarico. "We've had
great success with Future Shop helping us to raise awareness in the past and
they add a very exciting interactive element to our show which helps to
celebrate the entire video game industry."
Future Shop first became involved in Video Games Live in 2007 before
becoming the presenting sponsor for 2008.
"Video Games Live is a very cool and successful event," said Mary Ann
McKenzie, Entertainment Marketing Manager Future Shop. "Participating in Video
Games Live lets us connect with a highly targeted group of gamers, and it also
