ST. JOHN'S, Sept. 7 /CNW/ - FPI Limited ("FPI" or "the Company") today
announced the appointment of Mr. Graham Roome to FPI's Board of Directors,
Mr. Roome's experience in the seafood industry spans more than twenty
years. A graduate of Memorial University of Newfoundland, Mr. Roome began his
career in the seafood business with the Lake Group in St. John's, Newfoundland
and Labrador, and with FPI in Bonavista, Newfoundland and Labrador, where he
was Plant Manager. Mr. Roome also served as Director of Operations at
Clearwater Fine Foods Inc. in Bedford, Nova Scotia, where he developed many
harvesting and processing operations in Atlantic Canada and Argentina. In
April 2002, he rejoined FPI and serves currently as Executive Vice President
of FPI and Chief Operating Officer of the Company's Primary Group.
