This presentation of the prestigious crop of 2014 was an ideal
opportunity for Richard Lachance, President and Chief Executive Officer
of CAA-Quebec, to pay tribute to excellence in the restaurant and hotel
sectors throughout the province.
The CAA/AAA's Four and Five Diamond awards are an eloquent demonstration
of this excellence, since five of the 11 Five Diamond restaurants and
hotels in Canada, as well as the 61 of Canada's Four Diamond
restaurants and hotels, are located in Quebec. "We can say beyond the
shadow of a doubt that among the many things Quebec is renowned for is
the quality of its hotels and its fine-dining establishments,"
Mr. Lachance added.
Worth noting: the Ritz-Carlton Montreal is the only hotel in Quebec to
have the Five Diamond rating!
In addition to CAA-Quebec's website, in the On the Road section, One to Five Diamond hotels and restaurants in Quebec are listed in the
Atlantic Provinces and Quebec TourBook, free for CAA-Quebec members.
CAA-Quebec, a not-for-profit organization founded in 1904, provides
automotive, travel, residential and financial services and privileges
to its 1,260,000 members.
