ENPAR BOARD OF DIRECTORS ACCEPTS RESIGNATION
OF McKENLEY ESNARD
GUELPH, ON, Sept. 30, 2011 /CNW/ -The Board of Directors ("the Board")
of ENPAR Technologies Inc. ("ENPAR" or "the Company" or "the
Corporation") is pleased to announce that Mr. Edward Tsang has joined
ENPAR as director. Elected at the Annual General Meeting of
Shareholders on August 26, 2011, Mr. Tsang has also been appointed as
interim Chief Financial Officer.
Mr. Tsang is a Professional Engineer of Ontario and holds Bachelor of
Applied Science and Bachelor of Commerce degrees from the University of
Mr. Tsang was employed by H.J Heinz from 1980 to 1993. As a senior
officer, his roles included General Manager/CEO of Heinz-UFE Ltd.,
located in The People's Republic of China, and General Manager -
Engineering, Heinz Bakery Products, North America.
He has broad experience working with domestic and international
businesses as President and CEO of Zephyr Alternative Power Inc., a
company which he co-founded. Mr. Tsang has applied his expertise to the
development and commercialization of motors and patented, unique wind
An active volunteer in his community, Mr. Tsang was as a member of the
World Trade Committee of the Metro Toronto Board of Trade for six
years, and until recently, was a member of the Environmental Advisory
Committee for the Township of King, Ontario.
The Board announces that it has accepted with regret the resignation of
McKenley Esnard from the positions of director, Chairman of the Board,
and CFO of the Corporation.
Having served on the Board since March 2, 2006, Dr. Esnard cited
personal reasons for his resignation which took effect September 28,
2011. The Board has expressed its thanks to Dr. Esnard for his valued
service to the Corporation and wishes him well in his future
ENPAR has initiated a search for candidates for the positions of
Chairman of the Board and Chief Financial Officer.
ENPAR is a "Technology Company" applying its patented and proprietary
"Electrochemical Technologies" to the treatment of waste water and
drinking water contaminated by metals or nutrients i.e.,
nitrate/ammonia associated with the mining, metal processing, chemical,
agricultural, municipal and waste management sectors. At present, ENPAR
holds a total of 20 patents and has submitted an additional 18 patent
