CALGARY, Jan. 7 /CNW/ - Bill Lingard, President and CEO of Flint Energy
Services Ltd. (Flint, the Company), is pleased to announce the appointment of
Joel Jarding as Vice President of Flint Transco. Mr. Jarding assumed his new
role at Flint Transco on December 15, 2008.
As Vice President of Flint Transco, Mr. Jarding will be responsible for a
fleet of approximately 500 power units and 1200 trailers operating out of 12
locations in western Canada.
Mr. Jarding will report to Shawn Carry, the Senior Vice President of
Flint's newly reorganized Oilfield Services division.
Flint Transco, an operating unit of Flint's newly created Oilfield
Services division, provides drill rig and service rig moving, and light
hauling services for upstream oil and gas activities. The Oilfield Services
division also provides fluid handling, pressure and vacuum services,
industrial and chemical cleaning services, coiled tubing and flush-by
services, and specialized module hauling across western Canada.
Mr. Jarding has more than 26 years of experience in the oil and gas
services sector, including 25 years with Baker Hughes both nationally and
internationally in increasingly senior management positions. In addition to
his extensive experience, Mr. Jarding has a Bachelor of Science Degree in
Mechanical Engineering from the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology,
and a Master of Business Administration Degree from the University of Phoenix.
