OTTAWA, Feb. 10 /CNW/ - Haven't put the finishing touches on your
submission for Canada's top prize in investigative journalism yet?
Great news-- you've got another few days. The deadline for submissions
for the 2010 CAJ Awards has been extended. All submissions must now be
postmarked by Feb. 15, 2011.
The CAJ is looking to reward Canada's best investigative journalism
published or broadcast during the 2010 calendar year, along with
rewarding the country's best photojournalism, 'scoop,' daily journalism
and print feature.
Winners in each category take home the respect and admiration of their
media colleagues across the country, along with $500. Finalists in each
category also take home the respect and admiration of their media
colleagues, which is priceless.
You can't win if you don't apply though, and the deadline is a five days
We also, in conjunction with CNW Group, hand out a student award of
excellence -- the deadline for that award is Feb. 28, 2011.
All award winners will be announced at the CAJ's 2011 convention at the
Sheraton Hotel in Ottawa, May 13-15, 2011.
