VANCOUVER, Oct. 7 /CNW/ - An exciting new event kicked off this month in
support of BC Children's Hospital. Keeping Kids in the Game (KKG) is an
inaugural interactive video game tournament which aims to raise funds for BC
Children's Hospital Foundation through sponsorship and online fundraising. It
also provides players and fundraisers with a chance to win an exclusive price
to "get their face in the game".
The game tournament has two components: an online NHL 09 game tournament
open worldwide to players interested in fundraising and facing off against
their peers for a good cause, and a corporate tournament where sponsors are
invited to participate in a one day live venue game for a little friendly
competition. Top fundraisers from both leagues will win the prize of having
their face featured in the NHL 2010 game.
