Finalists named for B.C.'s Annual Journalism Awards



    VANCOUVER, Sept. 4 /CNW/ - A selection of B.C.'s best journalists have
been named as finalists for the 2008 Jack Webster Awards. Winners will be
announced at the 22nd annual Jack Webster Awards dinner on Nov. 6th at the
Westin Bayshore.
    CBC's Chief Correspondent and The National's Anchor, Peter Mansbridge is
the guest speaker at the awards dinner and Simi Sara and Dave Gerry take on
hosting duties. The 2008 Bruce Hutchison Lifetime Achievement Award will be
presented to veteran journalist, producer and senior news executive Steve
Wyatt.
