EXPLORATION ORBITE VSPA INC.
"ORT.A" on TSX - VENTURE
MONTREAL, April 10 /CNW Telbec/ - The Board of directors of Exploration
Orbite VSPA inc. announces that it has been awarded a second research and
development grant for its Grande-Vallée Alumina project. This is the second
grant under the Quebec government Programme d'Aide à la Recherche
Technologique (PART). It is aimed at financing the R&D related to various
commercial applications for the alumina extraction clay tailings.
"This grant is the result of the close collaboration between our firm and
the Centre d'Etude en Procédé Chimiques du Québec (CEPROCQ)" offered
Mr. Boudreault. "We have jointly presented a project and have been told that
we have garnered the second place out of some 50 competing projects. The basis
of evaluation is on scientific and technology quality, the impact of the
project and its environmental footprint" added Mr. Boudreault.
According to CEPROCQ's Dr. Serge Alex "the success of this research
project could bring the commercialization of industrial products from the
Grande-Vallée clay after extracting the iron and aluminum components. The
resulting clay could find applications in capturing heavy metals, extracting
copper, fabricating nitrates or even has absorbents for petroleum products"
"The Grande-Vallée project is going very well, we are on schedule as per
our action plan. We have achieved our goals at this point in time and we are
very optimistic about the future" concluded the new president Mr. Richard
Exploration Orbite VSPA inc, owns the mineral rights for the
Grande-Vallée property, an alumina clay deposit of 50 cells located 32 km
Northeast of Murdochville, Quebec.
