Experts on language and immigration to comment on December 4th Census results



    MONTREAL, Nov. 29 /CNW Telbec/ - On December 4, 2007 Statistics Canada
will release 2006 Census data in relation to Language, Mobility, Migration,
Immigration and Citizenship. On that day, the Association for Canadian Studies
will be holding a Symposium on Language, Migration and Immigration: What the
Results of the 2006 Census of Canada Imply for the Country and its
Communities. The principal spokespersons for Canada's official language
minorities and leading experts on language and immigration census will be
speaking. They will make themselves available for questions from the media.
    The event will be held December 4, 2007 from 10:30 am - 3:30 pm in the
Cascades Lounge at the Canadian Museum of Civilization, 100 Laurier Street,
Gatineau, Quebec
