WINNIPEG, Jan. 31 /CNW/ - Exchange Industrial Income Fund ("EIIF" or the
"Fund") (TSX Venture: EIF.UN) announced today that it has set the terms for
its previously announced private placement ("the Offering"). The Offering was
first announced on January 11, 2007.
EIIF will offer for sale 1,200,000 units at a price of $12.50 per unit,
for gross proceeds of $15,000,000. The Offering is comprised of a syndicate of
agents co-lead by Desjardins Securities Inc. and Wellington West Capital Inc.
and includes CIBC World Markets Inc. (the "Agents"). Units sold pursuant to
the Offering may not be resold for a period of four months and a day from the
closing of the Offering pursuant to the requirements of the TSX Venture
Exchange and applicable securities laws.
The net proceeds of the Offering will be used to fund acquisitions and
for working capital.
Completion of the Offering is expected to occur on or about February 15,
2007, and is subject to the satisfaction of certain customary conditions
including approval of the TSX Venture Exchange.
