A repeat winner of the National Newspaper Award for editorial cartooning,
the country's highest honour for caricaturists, Serge Chapleau has earned a
reputation as an invaluable commentator. Every year since 1993, readers have
eagerly awaited the annual anthology of his best work, L'année Chapleau.
Terry Mosher is also a National Newspaper Award winner and a laureate of
the Salon international de la caricature. Few introductions could be more apt
than the tribute written on the occasion of his appointment to the Order of
Canada: "Funny, audacious and sometimes outrageous, he is known as Aislin and
is one of our country's premier political cartoonists. With a few pen strokes,
he comments on Canadian life and gives us the pulse of a nation."
With these two honoured guests, the Canadian Club of Montreal will, for a
fourth year in a row, celebrate the end of a busy year on a humorous note.
We look forward to the pleasure of welcoming you to this event.
