Entrust Enables Secure, Authenticated Access to Enterprise Resources for Global Facility Services Group

Agreement with ISS France facilitated by local partner, displaces
competitor's high-priced tokens

DALLAS, Feb. 24 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- As budgets tighten amidst
unpredictable financial times, organizations are learning the benefits of
migrating to affordable, proven authentication methods to help secure
enterprise access and resources. ISS France, a segment of the ISS global
facility services group, understands this advantage and ended their dependence
on high-priced hardware tokens in favor of Entrust, Inc. (Nasdaq: ENTU) and
the Entrust IdentityGuard versatile authentication platform for enterprise
security.

"What we really desired was a proven, affordable solution that could
authenticate users -- employees, suppliers and customers -- with different
roles to varying applications," said ISS architecture manager Thierry
Issindou. "Grid cards were the simple, cost-effective answer to replace
high-priced tokens, which lacked the versatility we required. In the end, it
was the easy, affordable choice that best fit the needs of our users and
organization."

With Entrust IdentityGuard grids authenticating the identities of the
organization's employees, ISS France is able to manage the roles and specific
access of their entire workforce and specific third-party organizations. This
verification is based on inclusion to predefined user groups. Facilitated by
local French partner Digital People, the implementation also enabled ISS
France to simplify an enrollment process that was complex, costly and
time-consuming in the previous environment. Digital People also tailored
Entrust IdentityGuard to help ISS manage employee access according to their
roles. This was a key decision criterion to ISS.

"The goal of a dynamic enterprise security strategy is to provide
organizations with a strong, proven authentication solution that has the
flexibility to grow and evolve as their security requirements change," said
Entrust President and CEO Bill Conner. "Many vendors offer just a few
authentication methods, but we feel enterprises should deploy solutions that
have many authenticators to choose from - and which are affordable enough for
use on a mass scale."

Already deployed by ISS Austria, ISS France was encouraged by the ease of
implementation and affordability of the Entrust IdentityGuard versatile
authentication platform. In addition, ISS France valued the reliability of the
grid cards compared to high-priced hardware tokens that, in their experience,
can be lost or broken.

"Entrust IdentityGuard's ability to grant external contractors
time-limited grid cards provides unique flexibility and allows more frequent
maintenance operations," said Thierry Issindou. "This is a tremendous benefit
to ISS business as internal resources are less solicited, drastically reducing
operating and travel expenses."

Entrust IdentityGuard enables organizations to layer security --
according to access requirements or the risk of a given transaction -- across
diverse users and applications. The platform's authentication options include
username and password, IP-geolocation, device, questions and answers,
out-of-band one-time passcode (delivered via voice, SMS or e-mail), grid cards
and a range of one-time-passcode tokens. Entrust IdentityGuard also provides
multiple methods of supporting mutual authentication, including picture and
caption replay.

ISS France provides central management to seven departments of the ISS
Group in that region. Headquartered in Copenhagen, Denmark, the global ISS
Group offers a wide range of service solutions, including property services,
cleaning, office support, security and catering. Founded in 1901, ISS is one
of the world's largest facility services group, operating in 50 countries with
more than 440,000 employees.
